Moving to Spain

Spain

Is Moving abroad to Spain your dream then I hope your dream comes true.

A few tips to consider when making this major decision that is about to change your whole way of life.

After deciding which part of Spain is for
you your partner and family, you then have to make up your mind, is it inland for your place of residence or out in Spain’s beautiful countryside.

After Moving abroad check out how far the kiddies may have to travel back and to from schools. You have international academy’s and local Spanish learning centres what ever you feel is right for your child.

If it is the town that tempts your fancy then residing here gives you great access to all the services you need but parking can be a problem for drivers going back and to from work. Expect noise but if this is your forte, go for it.

The countryside wins hands down for me tranquil and serene. Apartments in the town you will pay more for than that of a dwelling on the outskirts. For what you would pay for a room or apartment inland or nearer the town you will most probably pay the same price for a villa with land and thrown into the bargain a swimming pool.

For any one Moving abroad and wanting to buy property it would be wise to travel out in advance and rent a room then you can take your time to do all the research that is needed before making a purchase. Like delving deeper into the Spanish laws and what it entails to become a resident.

The best advice I can give is to pay for a decent solicitor and then your sure of a decent service, it may cost a little extra but you will have peace of mind knowing that the job is getting done in the hands of a professional.

You hear of so many heartache stories about Moving abroad and how things have gone terribly wrong for many homeowners. The reason for this is because they cut corners to save money and end up losing a lot more.

Don’t be the next to shed tears.

If you are attached to all your possessions and do not want to leave them behind? Well don’t, if you live in Europe there are a great many reputable removal companies that cater for these major upheavals.

Should you live outside of Europe then contact a shipping agency.

The coast is wonderful with beautiful beaches and ocean so blue but if I had to choose? I am going green into the country where you get to mingle and meet the locals who still uphold their way of life strongly.

The Spanish live off the land and grow lush vegetables to sell locally. I can not see myself milking cows/goats but I am definitely up for feeding the chickens. Just the very thought of a freshly laid egg accompanied by freshly home baked crusty bread with segments of Seville oranges all washed down with a ground black coffee, and consumed on the veranda in the winter is most definately a dream come true.
