The two main beach areas in Benidiorm are called “The Levante” this is the main beach near the old town which, during the summer can accommodate up to ten thousand visitors, at times it can be one long party. If you prefer things a little bit calmer then head to the west beach of “Poniente ” This beautiful beach sweeps from the old town down a tree lined promenade towards the newer area of La cala with its bars and restaurants.

Poniente beach is probably the place you should head for if you want a bit of space for the family.The locals are rightly proud of their beaches and they keep them immaculate, every day the beaches are cleaned and swept down, ready for the next days visitors. Both beaches have earned blue flag awards and they shelve gently in to the sea making them safe for kids and beginner swimmers. Along the beaches you will find every possible water sport activity you could ever imagine from holiday fun like Banana boats and jetskis to serious stuff like accredited diving schools and Deep sea fishing adventures.

Benidorm has one final hidden gem that the locals like to keep to themselves, Underneath the cliffs near the harbour you will find the small secluded beach of “Malpas” here you can truly sunbathe like a pro and escape all the hustle and bustle. At night Benidorm comes alive and has something for everyone from Old fashioned pubs where you can drink British ale and Play darts to Karaoke bars and Disco bars. For those seeking a late night Benidorm is home to some of the coolest Nightclubs in Europe and regularly attracts top chart Producers and DJ’s to Play.
