I remember this hotel well it was situated at the top of a very steep slope and the name would you believe (Cardiac hill) as it was branded by all holidaymakers. Not sure if this was the real name.
Tropicana garden hotel is on the Levante beach side and the location is also fantastic for the beach, just a stones throw.
This hotel offered great facilities for families. Disco/gym/sauna and all sorts of day time activities.
Board basis fully inclusive offers a fabulous variety of foods. A rather large hotel with lifts to each floor the rooms as I recall were very spacious.
But here comes the big (BUT)no veranda or balcony
Having no balcony where I could admire the views or sip my morning coffee was disappointing.
This was compensated by huge windows but it is not the same being held by the ankles hanging half way out to get a good look at what was going on in Benidorm. Any way not safe, so do not try it.
There were three bars all with a different atmosphere so what ever your mood, you were sure one of these bars would accommodate.
You have to remember in places like this imported brand beers there will be a slight extra charge but if you like Sangria Malibu brandy whatever then the worlds your oyster.
Medicine as in i.e. headache tablets make sure to bring on your holiday. The reason being is after the highs of a night out in Benidorm come the lows in the form of a hangover. Local pharmacies in the resort deal with foreigners prescriptions all day long and stock all sorts of painkillers.
When booking into the Tropicana Garden hotel your photo would be taken and then placed on to an identity card called (Amigos) this is proof to sister hotels offering the same Amigos programme where you could eat as much as you like or use their facilities also on the showing of this card.
Great idea if you were the other side of Levante
Now things may have changed since I stayed at the Tropicana Garden hotel but a good choice for mums and dads with kids who may be on a tight budget. You will find this a great value for money cheap hotel.
All individuals differ so check your local travel agency for brochures to see if this hotel is for you, at the end of the day you know what you want and what ever that is? You will find it in Benidorm.
